The right pillow for every sleeping position
1. Pillow for side sleepers
Side sleepers should choose a voluminous pillow to balance the distance between the mattress and head and keep the spine in a straight position, thus avoiding back pain. Luxecosy recommends 40x80 cm pillows , which provide the right amount of support.
2. Pillow for back sleepers
Back sleepers require a flatter pillow that optimally fills the space between the head and the mattress without placing the neck and head in an unnatural position. It should be neither too firm nor too soft to ensure adequate support. Pillows in 80x80 cm are particularly suitable for this sleeping position, while the material and firmness should be tailored to individual preferences.
3. Pillow for stomach sleepers
If your preferred sleeping position is on your stomach, and you tend to place an arm under the pillow or even hug it, a softer, flatter 80x80 cm pillow is recommended. Down pillows are particularly soft and conformable, which is especially beneficial when sleeping on your stomach.
4. Pillow for alternating sleepers
For people who alternate between sleeping on their back and side, an adaptable pillow is essential. A narrow pillow measuring 40 x 80 cm is ideal, as it offers optimal support and flexibility when sleeping on their back or side. Alternatively, a neck pillow, which specifically supports the neck and is suitable for various positions, can be beneficial.
